Terms and Conditions

Chapter 1 General provisions

Article 1 Purpose

The purpose of these terms and conditions is to stipulate the terms and conditions of service use and procedures provided by U&U Plastic Surgery (hereinafter referred to as ‘the clinic’), as well as other necessary matters, including the rights, meaning and responsibilities of the clinic and users.

Article 2 Validity and change of terms and conditions

(1) These terms and conditions take effect when they are announced to users.
(2) The clinic may change the terms and conditions when circumstances change or there are important business reasons, and the changed terms and conditions take effect in the same manner as the preceding paragraph.

Article 3 Rules other than terms and conditions If matters not specified in these terms and conditions are stipulated in relevant laws and regulations, such provisions shall apply.

Chapter 2 Membership registration and service use

Article 1 Definition of member

A member is a general individual recognized by the clinic as suitable as a member, who agrees to these terms and conditions, fills out the service membership registration form, and is issued an ‘ID’ and ‘password’.

Article 2 Establishment of service subscription
(1) Subscription to the service is established by the clinic’s approval of the user’s application for use and the user’s agreement to the terms and conditions.
(2) Anyone wishing to sign up as a member and use the service shall provide personal information requested by the clinic.
(3) If the clinic approves the user’s application for membership, the clinic will notify the user of the member ID and other information deemed necessary by the clinic.
(4) The ID entered when signing up cannot be changed, and only one ID is issued to each person.
(5) The clinic does not accept applications for membership that fall under any of the following items.
A. When applying using another person’s name
B. When the application is not made under the user’s real name
C. When false information is provided in the application form
D. When an application is made for the purpose of disrupting social well-being, order, or morals

Article 3 Service use and restrictions
(1) Service use is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless there is a special problem with the company’s business or technology.
(2) The service usage time set forth in the preceding paragraph may be restricted after prior notice to members if necessary for the clinic, such as regular system inspection.
(3) Among the service contents, online consultation may not be available 24 hours a day depending on the personal circumstances of the person in charge.

Article 4 Service usage fee
(1) The service is free to use for all registered members.
(2) If the clinic charges for a service, the timing, policy, and cost of charging shall be announced on the service before implementation of the fee.

Chapter 3 Service withdrawal, re-registration, and use restrictions

Article 1 Service Withdrawal
(1) If the member wishes to withdraw from the service, the member shall directly request cancellation from the operator via e-mail. (2) When applying for withdrawal, if the member provides his/her name, resident registration number, ID, phone number, and reason for cancellation, the registration will be canceled after checking whether it matches the registration record.
(3) Withdrawal is canceled if the member cannot log in with the existing ID and password.

Article 2 Re-registration of services
(1) If the user who has withdrawn from the service in accordance with Article 1 wishes to re-register, the member may request re-registration directly from the operator via e-mail.
(2) When requesting re-registration, re-registration is processed when the user’s name, resident registration number, ID, and phone number information is provided. if the user logs in with the existing ID and password, re-registration has been completed.

Article 3 Restrictions on service use

If the member engages in any of the following acts, the clinic may terminate the service agreement or suspend use of the service for a set period of time without prior notice.
(A). Cases that are against public order and morals
(B). Cases related to criminal acts
(C). Cases where service use is planned or implemented for the purpose of harming national or social public interest
(D). Cases where someone else’s ID and password were stolen
(E). Cases that damage the reputation of others or put them at a disadvantage
(F). Cases where the same user double-registers with a different ID
(G). Cases that disrupt healthy use, such as causing harm to the service
(H). Cases that violate other relevant laws or conditions of use set by the clinic

Chapter 4 Limitation of liability regarding the service

Article 1 Online Consultation
(1) The clinic does its best to maintain security so that the counseling contents of service members or users are not leaked to third parties other than the counseling doctor and service administrator. However, in the following cases, the clinic is not responsible for disclosure or loss of consultation contents.
A. If the password is leaked due to the user’s carelessness and the consultation details are disclosed
B. If the user deletes the consultation using the ‘Delete’ function
C. When the consultation contents are disclosed or lost due to a natural disaster or other circumstances beyond the control of the clinic.
(2) In order to provide a comprehensive and appropriate response to the consultation requested by the member, persons in charge may refer to the consultation contents and answers.
(3) The contents of consultations conducted through the service can be used for the following purposes after personal information has been deleted.
A. Academic activities
B. Authoring activities such as printed materials and CD-ROMs
C. Part of service content such as FAQ, recommended consultation, etc.
(4) The answers to consultations are subjective answers based on each person in charge’s

A. If the member repeatedly applies for consultation with the same content
B. If the member applies for consultation using expressions that go against common sense

Article 2 Information Service
(1) The content provided in the service is rough and general and is provided for informational purposes only. The information or consultation provided through the service is never a substitute for medical diagnosis. The information or consultation provided through the service is in no way intended to replace medical diagnosis, treatment, or cure. If the member has any questions or concerns about his or her health, he or she shall visit a medical professional and receive a diagnosis. Under no circumstances should the member ignore a doctor’s diagnosis or delay receiving diagnosis, treatment, or cure because of the information provided by the service.
(2) The clinic does not recommend any specific tests, products or treatments mentioned in the service. All opinions expressed in the service are those of the relevant counseling doctor. The clinic is not responsible for the content of any documents or consultations provided through the service.
(3) Acceptance of information from this service, opinions of specialists participating in the service, or other members or visitors using the service is entirely at the discretion of the user. Therefore, the clinic is not responsible for any damage, injury or other disadvantage resulting from the use of any product, information, ideas or instructions provided to the members.

Chapter 5 Obligation

Article 1 Company Obligations
(1) The clinic shall allow members to use its services unless there are special circumstances.
(2) The clinic has an obligation to provide continuous and stable services in accordance with the provisions of these terms and conditions.
(3) The clinic processes opinions raised by the member through appropriate procedures, and if processing takes a certain period of time, the member shall be notified of the reason and processing schedule.

Article 2 Obligation of Member Information Security
(1) The member is responsible for all management of the member’s ID and password.
(2) The member agrees to receive e-mail from the service sent as part of the service.
(3) If the member’s ID is used illegally, the member shall notify the clinic.
(4) The clinic does not sell or provide personally identifiable information to third parties unrelated to the clinic without prior permission from members or users. However, the clinic may utilize registered information voluntarily provided in the following cases.
A. When providing developers with information needed to develop new features, information, and services that are useful to members
B. When providing advertisers with statistical information about service members and user groups (which never reveal the identity of individual members)
C. When used by the company to provide advertisements or services based on member and user preferences
(5) Information that can confirm personal identification (user name, ID, e-mail address, etc.) may be voluntarily disclosed in communication spaces such as bulletin boards (hereinafter referred to as communication spaces). In these cases, disclosed information may be collected, associated, and used by third parties, and users may receive unsolicited messages from third parties. Such actions of third parties cannot be controlled by the clinic. Therefore, the clinic makes no guarantees regarding the possibility of member information being discovered by methods beyond the clinic’s control.
(6) The clinic may use cookie technology to facilitate the use of services. Cookies are small text files that a website uses to identify returning users, provide continued access, and provide personalized service. In general, cookies operate by assigning a unique number to the user that has no meaning outside the site that granted the cookie. Cookies do not break into the user’s system and are not dangerous to the user’s files. The clinic cannot prevent the use of Cookies by advertisers or affiliated third parties of the Service. If a member or user does not wish to collect information using cookies, they can control whether or not to accept cookies in their web browser. However, the use of cookies may be necessary for the services (especially personalized information) to function properly.
(7) The clinic may mutually provide/utilize member information between services or business affiliates between the company and the business.

Chapter 6 Dispute Mediation
(1) Except for those stipulated in these terms and conditions, disputes regarding all issues related to the use of the service shall be resolved through mutual agreement to the maximum extent possible.
(2) If a lawsuit is filed regarding a dispute arising from the use of the service, the court having jurisdiction over the company’s location shall be the competent court.

Supplementary Provisions
These terms and conditions will take effect on June 15, 2020.

The clinic destroys personal information immediately after 『Purpose of collection and use of personal information』 is achieved. Destruction procedures and methods are as follows.

7. Rights of users and legal representatives and methods of exercising them

Membership registration for children under the age of 14 (hereinafter referred to as “children”) is done through a separate form written in plain language that is easy for children to understand, and the consent of a legal representative is always obtained when collecting personal information.
The clinic collects minimum information from children, such as the name and contact information of the legal representative, in order to obtain the consent of the legal representative, and obtains the consent of the legal representative in accordance with the method stipulated in the personal information handling policy.
